Paris Day 3: Type of Typo
Elena East, Louisa Esch, chanel luu hai & Jason Barrera
We visited Center Pompidou, home of both historical and modern arts, new media, films, architecture and more. We decided to create a typographic expression out of randomly selected objects that surrounded us. At the Center Pompidou, we picked out a few objects: a fire extinguisher, toilet paper, lamp, cables, pipes, fence, cleaning cart.
The palette contains four different colors that represent the four colors of the pipes wrapping around the building. There are four pipe colors, which are blue for circulating air, yellow for circulating electricity, green for circulating water and red for circulating people, including escalators and lifts.
